New EU project RISKSUR
RISKSUR is a new European project whose aim is to develop decision support tools for the design of cost-effective, risk-based surveillance systems that integrate the most recent advances in epidemiological methodologies.
Methods and tools for comparative epidemiological and economic evaluation of different surveillance systems designs will be developed, and made available through a web-based decision support tool. The project will provide decision makers with a validated tool that should allow the design of more cost-effective animal health surveillance.
