YE programme 2 September
The Young EPIZONE core group has organised three workshops on ‘career development’, Wednesday 2 September (Room Joffre 5). All young scientsist of the ESVV/EPIZONE meeting can participate in these ‘free’ workshops.

09:15 - 10:30 Workshop 1: Stress management, François Maurin
11:00 -12:00 Workshop 2: Job interview, François Maurin
15:00 -16:30 Workshop 3: Short term missions and career advise senior scientists (a.o Wim van der Poel – Coordinator EPIZONE).
Workshop 1 and 2
François Maurin will give two workshops: The first one on stress management, focusing on techniques to handle this unhealthy phenomenon. The second workshop will be about job interviews and how to tell a good story about yourself.
François Maurin has a background as a financial and commercial manager and as an actor. He has coached CEOs in advocacy, negotiation and public speaking.
Workshop 3
Opportunities, challenges and support for short term missions and career advises by senior scientists will form the third workshop of the afternoon.
