Each year, during the EPIZONE annual meeting, Young EPIZONE (YE) organises an own meeting at the same venue, with workshops of interest for PhD students and other young scientists. This year, YE organises three workshop sessions on Wednesday the 2nd of September at the 9th Annual Meeting EPIZONE/ESVV conference.

The sessions include workshops focussing on career development; also senior scientists will discuss with the young scientists about the career path they have followed for their research. Since the EPIZONE annual meeting is together with the ESVV conference, the Young EPIZONE meeting will also be a joint meeting with ESVV.

All young scientists are invited to join

So if you are a young scientist and you want to meet new people and broaden your scientific network, please join us on the 2nd of September in Montpellier. The YE workshop sessions are free to attend for EPIZONE annual meeting participants and ESVV congress participants (no extra fee) and need no subscription in advance. More detailed information on the program will follow soon and will be published on the ESVV website and the EPIZONE website.

YE: a platform for young scientists

For young scientists it is extremely important to meet with colleagues to exchange experiences and knowledge and build a network with scientists from all over the world. Young EPIZONE is an organisation of young scientists within the EPIZONE network, which provides a platform for young scientists working in the veterinary field working on epizootic diseases and zoonoses.
